Meet the Crew Behind our Trusted Local Auto and Diesel Mechanic Shop
The shop was built by Rhonda. She created Cowboy Diesel after retiring as cattle hauler. She had a dream of creating a shop where anyone, especially women and independent haulers, could walk in and get honest, transparent repairs.
So her and her son created Cowboy Diesel and later her sister, Nelda, for backup on the books and slowly gathered a crew she trusted:

Howard was a family friend turned head mechanic.

Colton, and Jason who was employed by Rhonda through Cowboy Diesel.
After her passing in January 2026, the shop was carried forward by her son Jesse and his wife Kasi, who continues to run it with the same expectations she set from day one. This is her legacy she left for them.
Since her passing, they have created an unstoppable team! Autumn Bumgardener is now our shop manager and we are hiring more trustworthy people to ensure that the growth of our shop continues.

Jesse
Owner of S&S Auto and Diesel
Jesse is the youngest son of Rhonda and Eddie. This shop is his legacy from his late mother. You will see Jesse at the shop every day, driving people to their homes, or helping wherever he is needed at the shop.
Kasi
Marketing of S&S Auto and Diesel
You won't find Kasi at the shop as often as Jesse, however, she is behind every single thing that you read on our Facebook page or the website. She keeps people coming into our shop so we can help them!
Marissa
Shop Manager of S&S Auto and Diesel
Autumn has been in the Auto/Diesel Work for 10 years and was recently hired to run our auto and diesel shop alongside Jesse and Kasi. She wrangles parts orders, invoices, and front‑counter smiles. If you get a call update mid‑repair, that’s Autumn keeping you in the loop. She is really good at finding hard to find parts.

Mechanic of S&S Auto and Diesel
Jason's specialty is rebuilding motors both diesel and automotive. He started working in the auto/diesel field 10 years ago because he loves fast cars.
