In 2025, Cowboy Diesel officially purchased the building and name of S&S Automotive here in Mineral Wells. We brought over our full team and management, keeping our loyal customers and trusted service intact. While the name on the building may say S&S Auto and Diesel, the heart and soul of Cowboy Diesel is still here, just with more room to serve you.

We changed the name from S&S Automotive to S&S Auto and Diesel because we specialize on gas and diesel engines.

We made this change to better serve our community, with upgraded space, better access, and the ability to expand our services while staying true to our values: honesty, quality work, and real relationships.

You’ll still find the same team you’ve trusted over the years. We’re just operating under the name S&S Auto and Diesel now, located right behind Taco Bell off Highway 180.

If you’re a Cowboy Diesel customer, we want to make sure you know where we are and why we’ve made this shift. The name may be new, but we’re the same people, same tools, same dedication—just in a better building.
